Everyone here at MCAA would like to take this time to say how much we enjoy working with all the children this year. The numbers just keep growing and its so great to walk around the fields and see all the smiling faces. Just a few notes about our upcoming fundraiser and Opening Day Festivities... Krispy Kreme Doughnut Pre-Sale Fundraiser - UPDATES - $6.00 a box for Glazed $7.00 a box for Specialties $8.00 a bag for Coffee Remider: The team that sells the most will receive a pizza party. All money and orders need to be turned in by Friday April 3rd. You can either give them to your coach or turn them in at the concession stand any day next week. The pick up day will be Wednesday April 8th at 6:00 at the McGee's Middle School Ball Field. This way everyone can receive their order before Spring Break. Opening Day Ceremony - UPDATES - The Date will be Saturday April 18th from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. We will have a parade of teams starting at 9:00a.m.. We would like to have all the children and coaches participating to be there no later than 8:30a.m. so we can get them lined up and ready. We will also have a station set up for a food drive to help the Basic Needs Ministry at 40/42.. Please bring out 1 can or box item to help them feed those in need. With the economy these days there are alot more people who need help. Any little bit helps. There will be a $5.00 admission fee for anyone who wants to play games. Concession Stand will be open all day. We will be selling Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, chips, cold drinks and snacks. We will have Bounce Houses, a Joust house, a bungee house, a bottle toss, a balloon pop, a Cake Walk and much more. We will have a Dunking Booth. We are also having a Bake Sale. If anyone would like to bake a cake, cookies, brownies, cupcakes please let me know. We need some items donated for that day. Canopy Tents Tables Chairs Volunteers If you would like to donate items or come out and volunteer some of your time please email me or call me to let me know what you can do. This Fundraiser is to benefit all the children here at MCAA. We try to keep the registration costs down. With the help of the fundraisers and our generous sponsors we are allowed to do that. I am also having a meeting next Friday night 4-3-09 at 6:00 in the concession stand at the ball field along with the 3 wonderful ladies (Heather Krebs, Christi Callahan and Jamie Caddell) helping me put this together if anyone would like to attend.
