On the Johnston County Schools website it says orientation is August 21st. I just got a letter in the mail saying the orientation is August 20th. Does anyone know which date is correct?
I am assuming since they typed and mailed the letter that they just have not updated the website. (but I could be wrong.)
Someone posted on one of the other threads about school on here that they changed it to the 20th, but they hadn't updated the website yet. I don't have kids in that school, so wasn't paying too much attention, but I do remember reading that. I'd scan through the other school posts on here (about orientation maybe?) to be sure...that was yesterday or the day before.
Thank you all. Didn't have time to scan other threads for it. Well at least my son doesn't have to spend his birthday at orientation.
The McGees Elem is the 21st, do you know if Kindergartners are supposed to attend or is it just for 1st - 5th? Thanks!
Just 1st - 5th. My son was in Kindergarten there last year and they had a different orientation schedule. They had a few days you could pick from to sign up...whatever time was most convenient for you.
