First off he is the same age as I am. As a kid I loved the Jackson 5 and enjoyed his albums into the 80's.

But later on he became too freakish and bizarre for my tastes. I guess the deal he made with the devil came due. Now he will be sitting at the head table with the Devil, Hitler, Dahmer, Gacy. All that's left for the devil to wait on is Manson.

The devil lost his deal with Manson. He said, "Drill a hole in your head and I'll let you out of the deal." The devil has been heard saying, multiple times, "Who would have thought he'd do it?"

Don't forget..any one of us could be sitting at the same table..you included. To put him in the above company is absurd. He never killed anybody.

Gosh, I really liked his early songs like "Billie Jean" & "Thriller" but he had gotten way too extreme for this JoCo girl. But did you ever notice, that deaths seem to come in 3's. Like Ed McMahon, Farrah, & now Jocko.

At least I would have interesting conversation and a front row seat to a Michael Jackson show. Apparently my point of Selling his soul was missed.

According to Urban Dictionary the definition of Sell your soul:
To do anything, even something bad or dishonest, in return for money, power, respect, success, etc.
Never sell your soul to anybody and/or for anything. Always be true to yourself, your heart and your soul.

Isn't that the truth? Not one of us knows his heart, and not one of us is fit to judge him.

    exactly!!

and personally, I don't give a damn about anything except his music, which I loved. I am sad today for his family.

One of my favorite quotes I have read this morning, about MJ.

"Peace to the King. ... He was one of my childhood idols. I salute you King of Pop. You made the whole world moonwalk together." - LL Cool J, rapper-actor.

well, I'm not sure about the man personally but I went to see him in Atlanta, many many years ago.... and it was the best concert I have ever seen.

    :iagree:

yesterday when we heard here in the house, me and my roommate both grew up with him..oh man Thriller was my favorite. Yes he got weird, but that doesn't change what I grew up with and his music, there will never ever be anything like him again. My DD and my Roommates DD have been watching video's all morning, they wanted to know what we were talking about. They accually got up and danced to his music.
    Remember "We are the World".

I loved his music too, grew up with it and embraced it as an adult. He was and will always be an Icon for his music.

While we all have skeletons in our closet...his was magnified because of his fame and money. He gave to charity and promoted peace and harmony in many of his songs.
