Mill Branch Creek Bridge on Cornwallis

Any news on when the bridge will be done? The release stated 105 days from job beginning which happened on Oct. 7th, sure do miss my cut through and will be glad to not have to face 42 traffic just to go to the grocery store.

 

According to DOT, it should be reopening on January 20.

I drove down to look at it around Christmas. The driving part (flat) was done, and they were working on the sides. Then i guessed mid January.

So anyone know if the bridge is open yet?

 

To finish if it involves laying asphalt it'll be delayed awhile longer. Long range forecast the next week or so is showing pretty cold temps.
