I need some help from my fellow 4042ers. My wife and I are in the market for one of these but are almost overwhelmed by all the info out there and the varity of brands. Do any of you have a mini dvd camcorder? How do you like it? Any suggestions for $400.00 or less. We will use it for video only - inside and outside. I was hoping some of you could help me out as I wade through all the info. Thanks.
I have a Sony DVD recorder and I LOVE it. It's so small that you can carry it anywhere. I took it to Disney and recorded most of the trip for the kids. You just record on the disc and then you have to FINALIZE it for playing on your DVD player. The camera does all of that. Then, just pop it in the DVD player and watch the show. The discs are only 30 minutes long, but that hasn't been a problem.
