Need help from those that live off Guy Road or Amelia Church and subdivisions ~ just got home and was informed by my son that our dogs have gotten out of the yard. One of my dogs is TERRIFIED of storms and it seems she ended up pushing the gate open and loosened the ties that were around the gate and got out. The dogs are the ones in my avatar. Their names are Chico (the long haired one) and Belle (the lab). Their collars are on them and has our phone number on it. If you find them, please call. I am getting ready to go out and look for them, but will be checking back here at the house to see if there are any messages. Neither dog will bite and they love attention and car rides. I was at work when this happened and really have no idea how long they have been gone. With it raining and such, there is no telling where they might be, so any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
I'm still at work for a while tonite, but I'll keep an eye out for them at my end of the neighborhood and will call you if we do find them. PM me your phone # just incase they don't want me to see the tags on their collars.
I just did. We came home to see if any phone calls or anything. My daughter is crying, which isn't helping. I am just at a loss as to where to look now. We have been all over and just have no idea where to go from here, but will keep back tracking, I guess. Thanks Tassy
No luck. My daughter just keeps crying and going to the windows and opening the doors and calling for them. It is breaking my heart
OK, I cannot post pictures, but here are some links for their pictures on my photobucket Please please let me know if anyone finds them. Their name and our phone number should be on their tags, which hopefully are still attached if they have gone through some woods.
Oh, guess I did get the pictures up. Did something I didn't know what I was doing. Chico's eyes look like they are outlined with eyeliner, he is part chow and he has a spotted tongue. Belle has a white tip on her tail and as you can see she has a white spot on her head
FF, tell your daughter to have faith. Those babies know where they are loved the best and will come home. I get off at 9:30 here in Raleigh and I live off of exit 319. But I do know how improtant this is. I am gonna swing off at hwy 42 and go down in that area and see if I see them. If you don't hear from me, by like ...oooo... 10:30 or so, you'll know I could not find them but I will say some prayers. Now, I will check here before I leave work to see if you post that they have been found!!!
I just got in and drove through all our little cul-de-sacs, and checked all around my own house, I hate to say but I didn't see any sign of them. I'll keep an eye out on my way to work in the morning. I've been leaving just before 7:00am, so once the storms have passed and its daylight maybe they'll be out and about.
Just an update, still no puppies. My husband drove around and walked around until almost 3:00 am and could not find them and went back out this morning around 6 and still nothing. My daughter ended up sleeping with me because she was upset. I have to go to work and cannot check here during the day due to our system at work, but if anyone finds them, they can call the number on their tags and my daughter will be home. If she does not answer, as she doesn't answer numbers she does not recognize, please leave a message. Will update again when I get home. Thanks everyone. Please continue to keep an eye out. We want our babies home!!!
I sent this to a few people that I know that aren't on here, that live in that area and will keep their eyes and ears open for them. I'm up on exit 319 but will keep mine open as well. I'm sure you done this already, but post photo's/flyers up around your area, up at 312 and 319 at the stores and stuff, and check the shelters as well. Thoughts and prayers going out to you, and your family. Sheri
I kept an eye out on my way to work this morning, also drove through Coxwoods and Wynston (on the side of the new gas station). I also stopped and asked a few people I saw walking if they had seen them, and gave them your phone# incase they did see them. I never heard my dog or my neighbors dog during the night, so I can only assume they were never at my end of the neighborhood.
I drove around last night, FF. I had no luck either. It will all work out and they'll be home before you all know it. May I PM you later?
I hope they've found the pups by now ... I've got some errands to run and am nearby, I'll drive around the area and see if there's any sign of them. Now that the sun is shining they might be out and about, if they took shelter somewhere in their storm-confusion.
I have to go that direction today and will keep my eyes open. Would they come to a stranger that knew their name???
