Two of my kids...4th and 6th grade...have been "evil" tired after the first two days of school. Anyone else suffering with this too?

I caught them pounding on each other about 5:00 today. They usually get along great. Well, I made them stand in the middle of their room and hold each other...nose to nose. The phone rang and I told them they better not move until I got back. I hung up the phone and FORGOT about them. It was maybe 7 or 8 minutes total but I heard "Mom is so mean to make us do this"...""yeah, I'm never speaking to her again"..."Well i'm never speaking to you again". By then I had busted out laughing and made both of them furious with me. I told my husband to NEVER go out of town again on the first week of school and that he owed me one for keeping my cool (this is putting it nicely).

Oh well, just needed to vent and wondered if anyone else was suffering as I. The darling angels (not!!!) are now in bed and my heartrate has finally slowed. God bless 3 day weekends!!!!

I have a 9th grader and 7th grader. Their attitudes haven't been too bad, but I think their schedules have kept them too busy to be ill. One is in marching band, the other is trying out for volleyball. So, between their extra activities and homework that the 9th grader has already started getting, they'retoo busy and too tired to give me too much of a hard time. yeah!!!

I have 2 boys 7th and 5th graders. They are always "fighting" but today they were louder and more physical! UGH! Go outside and beat the **** out of each other so you don't break anything of mine.
