I've got a 15 year old 23 inch CRT. Everything is too black. I'm figuring it's worn out. What do I need? Just want to watch u tube and let the kids play games.

    I want 22 - 24 inch LCD.

I know I can go to intrex and get one. Will a Wal Mart LCD do the same?

Been rummaging through the Smithsonian reject pile again? :jester:

Things Captain Obvious might say for $100, Alex. :)

Off hand, I'd say "A new monitor." :)

    Certainly.

Most monitors these days will be fine for everyday computing needs. If you have need of video editing in a professional atmosphere, you might want to get something a little more powerful, but oidds are for your needs anything Wal*Mart sells that looks good to you will do.

    Tiger Direct or NewEgg.

Monitors are very cheap these days but these are quality monitors at cheap prices. You will get what you pay for from Walmart.
