Every mom needs a break! Mount Zion United Methodist Church is beginning Mother's Morning Out, offering structured child care for children ages 18 months to 5 years old every Wednesday morning from 9 am to 1 pm to give moms (or dads or grandparents) a break. The program will begin Sept 7th and run through May 30th. There will be a separate summer program. In case you aren't familiar, the way it works is the moms take turns caring for the children on a rotating schedule. The number of weeks you are off of the rotation depends on the number of participants. The activities are preplanned by the team members and a team member from Mount Zion will always be there to help the moms. The cost is $10 per month per child, which is just to cover the snacks that will be served. Lunch will also be served, but will be provided by the parent. We'll have crafts and story time and lots of other fun activities planned each Wednesday. Anyway, just a great way to get a break and socialize your children if you are a stay at home mom. The registration and information forms are located in the church office. The church is on Hwy 50 near the Lowes Food shopping center. Everyone is welcome! If you have questions, feel free to ask here or pm me!

    Bump!

I got a few PMs, but there is space available in the program for anyone interested! It's super inexpensive (only $10 a month) and a great opportunity for learning and socialization for your children and a break for you!
