ESL Instructor Shares Story of Highly Successful Program

RALEIGH-- Ana Sanders, ESL instructor at Four Oaks Elementary School,
has been the driving force behind the school's highly successful ESL and
inclusion program--so much so that she has caught the attention of Good
Morning America and most recently MSNBC, bringing well-deserved
attention to the school and the district.

MSNBC is a joint news broadcast venture between Microsoft and NBC on
cable, comprised of MSNBC on cable and MSNBC.com on the Internet.

MSNBC sent a driver to pick Sanders up and whisked her away early Monday morning to NBC affiliate NBC-17 in Raleigh this morning to tape a brief interview about the innovative program that has not only helped students whose first language is not English, but advances their American
    counterparts' learning as well.

Sanders interview was aired in part during a 30-minute special program
    on MSNBC on immigration.
