I've been following this post in the Classifeds section under Pets and Supplies. I don't see where she has posted anything here so wanted to do so for her. My heart really goes out to her and I am praying that someone will find and return her babies. Christina- if you see this, make sure you contact all of the local vets and the Banfield Vets in Petsmart. My daughter works at Banfield and I was there one day when a woman brought in a dog she had found several days before to see if it was microchipped. Unfortunately it wasn't and she had not been able to locate the owner. She was planning to keep the dog if the owner could not be found. Since your dogs have been microchipped, if they are hanging around someone's house for a while perhaps they will think to take it to a vet to check for the chip. Here's one of her posts: Contact: Christina 2025 Spring Valley Drive Clayton, NC 27520 Telephone: E-Mail: Reply to Ad Web Site: Description My babies have been gone for 6 days now. Sleeping is not a option for me. The guy who runs the K9 Protection Program thinks he also spotted Roxie Friday night in his yard but he has never seen what she looks like or it was her or not. he just saw a med to large dog in his yard that look like a boxer that was dark in color. He allowed us to look all in his fields which took a long time and it was very nice of him but the darkness of night grew in and we couldnt look any longer. Roxie is a 56 pound Boxer, she has a black face with a little tiny white line that goes from her nose to between her eyes. She is Brindle in color. She is up to date on all shots. She is spayed. She is microchipped. she has on a purple collar. She also has ID tags on if she hasnt lost her collar which the people that have talked to said she still had it on. SHE IS INJUIRED. IMPIMING ON HER BACK LEGS TWO PEOPLE HAVE SAW HER THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG. It is important that i get her to a vet as soon as i get her home. My vet has already been informed and is leaving me on emergency stand by. Jessie is a 135 pound Boxer/choc lab mix, but her looks more like a black lab mastiff mix. He is all black with a white patch on his chest and under his chin. The only other white he has is a on a certain spot on his belly and on all of his middle toes. none on his legs or tail. He is very husky. (all the pictures i have of him is from where he is 115 pounds) He is also microchipped. He has on a blue collar with some ID tags, and a black bark collar with a green box. He is up to date on all shots, He is neutared, He has really bad ears so if someone picks him up please avoid touching those he takes medications for that. Im sure he is in a lot of pain right now. The dogs have not been spotted together but you never know they might find each other again. I just pray they make their way back home if i dont find them first. Please keep an eye out for wonderin dogs if you are in the area. Christina 919-763-0306 919-262-5180
