My very sad story

My Chihuahua died thid morning at 1:45. we have been expecting it but not prepared and I sure couldn't tell her how much I loved her enough. I am totally heartbroken. She was so pitiful. She had not eaten but a bite or two here and there for the past week and I was giving her water and pedialyte witha medicine dropper and having to take her out to potty and bring her back in. I took her to the vet on Thursday and he gave me antibiotics and lasix but wanted me to take her back next week so he could PULL HER TEETH!! Anyway I know I will never be able to replace HER but if anybody knows of a Chihuahua that needs a good loving home I need a Chihuahua to cuddle and love. I miss my baby so much!!! I have 2 kids a 12 yr old and a 5 yr old and 2 ouside dogs and a horse. I may have to wait for a while but my intentions are to have another Chihuahua. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So sorry for your loss. Sorry I can't help you with another dog, but just wanted to send ( ( ( hugs ) ) ) for your loss. Did you see that story on the news the other day about the chihuahua that saved a little child from a rattlesnake bite? Little dogs can have the biggest hearts!

 

So very sorry to hear about your little one. I'll PM you within the hour with a few suggestions on where you might find another Chihuahua. Are you sure you're ready at this time?

I know you are aware that no dog will ever 'replace' the one that just passed, but I would strongly suggest that if you wish to adopt the same breed, it might be best to adopt a pooch who doesn't look too similar in color to the pup you lost this morning. It really helps - mentally - when every time you look at your new family member, not to compare. . .it's a human thing. . .even with the best of intentions.

I am sorry!!! Sigh. I am a big dog person, but LOVE my Chihuahua!!

You may want to go on the shelters websites and see what they have available. Good luck.

Tammy, I am so sorry to hear about your chihuahua. I will be devastated when something happens to mine. There's nothing like those little fellas to hug and hold onto.
