SSS Students Tapped to Play Classroom Jeopardy Courtesy With National Clue Crew! SMITHFIELD-- Chris Embler's English students are accustomed to creative lessons, exciting dialogue, and hands-on activities. So when the ABC-owned local station WTVD Eyewitness News called to say they would like to refer the "Clue Crew" from the nationally syndicated show Jeopardy! to their teacher's class, they were once again looking forward to their next lesson. At 1 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, September 29), the "Clue Crew,"-- which is comprised of Jeopardy! staff who travel the nation searching for clues to include in Jeopardy! categories for the show's host Alex Trebek to use-- will visit Embler's fourth period class and play a Classroom Jeopardy unit. Complete with the show's sound effects, theme, Double Jeopardy! and Final Jeopardy! questions, the game will test the students' knowledge on a variety of topics while transforming the classroom into a Jeopardy! studio. The Classroom Jeopardy! game, which can be customized to test knowledge of the curriculum being taught, will be presented as a gift to the teacher after the game is over.
