Thats the good ole commish for ya. A hike right before he leaves his post ! Coastal risks are supposed to go up 50% on Outer Banks and $70% in coastal counties. Can't handle much more going up !
It does not appear that the Commissioner has ruled on it yet. Our Insurance Commissioner has done a good job of keeping rates down, IMO.
Yeah, let's raise insurance rates during a recession. Lovely idea! Nothing like kicking folks when they are down. Didn't Progress Energy just raise their rates too?
