So we're getting her 40 gifts for her 40th birthday; 20 gag gifts and 20 regular gifts. The gag gifts were easy (Depends, wrinkle cream, etc). It's the 20 regular gifts that are giving me trouble! We got 7 things from Bath & Body Works. I'm thinking of getting a beach bag and putting inside the B&BW stuff with a beach towel and flip flops (one of the B&BW items was sun block - "29 and Holding"). Now I'm out of ideas. We're on a pretty tight budget so I'm trying to keep it really reasonable. I'm probably going to get some dark chocolate (her favorite). And I thought I might get a popcorn tub and add a movie rental gift card. And I can throw in a few $5 gift cards to places, but I really want stuff she can unwrap. Any ideas?
maybe you can get some cute stuff for "girls night" bottles of nail polish and those toe seperator things. lip gloss coach had some cute scarves and some other stuff for $10 when i was in smithfield today and umbrellas for $15 check dwanyes by the pottery they have cute stuff don't know prices though temporary tattoos hope this helps
DOLLAR TREE --- has cute picture frames, a pretty flower vase, etc. I'm sure you can pick up the rest of your 20 'real' gifts there. Also, great idea about the 40 gifts.
we did this for my sister......I went to Ulta....you can get cute makeup bags, nail files, polish, shampoos, candles, for cheap. The Ulta brand stuff is 3 for $10. Also, we did gift cards. nail salons, gas card, foodlion card, walmart, mcdonalds,starbucks (we chose her fav/frequent places).....$5 or $10 increments..... it will be soo awesome when you wrap each thing individually and have 40 presents ....we numbered them as well....all differently. oh, and I have many ULTA coupons if you want them.
