Need Prom Dress Hemmed

Can anyone recommend someone good to hem a prom dress!!!!

I bought my daughters prom dress and it only needs to be hemmed. The shop I bought it at is already full for appointments so I have to get it done somewhere.

I don't want to pay an arm and a leg but I want it to be right.

I dropped off two formal suits at "Thrifty Threads" on Hwy. 50 in Garner last week. She only sells consignment formalwear and also does alterations.

 

Good luck with that. She butchered a formal dress that I took there for alterations, charged more than quoted and took 3x as long to get it done. Dress wasn't ready until the day before the event!

 

Thrift Threads did a great job on my wedding dress and altering my hubby's dress blues!
