Folks, C6 and I have an anniv of sorts forthcoming. Your recommednations for dinner for the two os us would be where?
i'm listening too - Sat nite is mine and DH's 23rd wedding anniversary but i gotta stay close to home - poor DH has to work all day Saturday.
Kaci. Congrats....I'm leaning towards Maggiano's at South Park Mall (Fayetteville St at I-40) or Ruth's Chris in Cary... Any other ideas?
42nd Street Oyster BAr, Downtown Raleigh Jimmy V's Steakhouse (fabulously romantic), MacGregor Village Cary 518 West, Downtown Raleigh (romantic and authentic Italian) those are my top 3 favorites.....all have websites if you want to 'google' 'em!
Maggiano's sounds great. I haven't been there, but keep hearing really good things about it. The people I know seem to go for special occasions only, so it'll fit the bill. Have a great time celebrating! Frogger
Ahhhh First dates. Never go out to eat just anywhere. Do something spontaneous like driving to the beach. Having Dinner on the sand.
I took one of my dates down to Wilmington and we had a candle light dinner down on the river. That scored many points!!!
SS.. She and I met May 21, 1975....on Atlantic Beach, at Fort Macon. <3@FS so I want it to be special. Wilmington...no can do..my loyalty is to the other port terminal city.
That is about the only seafood i don't care for but my DH loves them. We have talked about going there - have you been?
If you want really good seafood. Cherry Grove at North Myrtle. Tar Babies restaurant. Crab legs for miles and miles
Yeah i know, but this is a Sat nite thing and DH has to work all day Saturday, gotta stay close to home:cry:
No, can't vouch for them personally. I haven't had oysters since the Kro's Nest closed down  . Frogger
Sunny Side Too in Garner has a good oyster bar..friendly service..and enjoyed all our meals there. Great steamed shrimp and Oysters....set up a DTG and we can all go...date time group....
http://www.782evoo.com/ (click on the picture of olives to open the site...menus, etc, are listed) Evoo, in Raleigh, is really good. Cozy, casual/upscale... It's near the intersection of Oberlin & Glenwood (from Glenwood, turn on Oberlin...it's about a block up on Fairview)
