Congrats....I'm leaning towards Maggiano's at South Park Mall (Fayetteville St at I-40) or Ruth's Chris in Cary...
    Any other ideas?

42nd Street Oyster BAr, Downtown Raleigh
Jimmy V's Steakhouse (fabulously romantic), MacGregor Village Cary
518 West, Downtown Raleigh (romantic and authentic Italian)

those are my top 3 favorites.....all have websites if you want to 'google' 'em!

Maggiano's sounds great. I haven't been there, but keep hearing really good things about it. The people I know seem to go for special occasions only, so it'll fit the bill. Have a great time celebrating!

Ahhhh First dates. Never go out to eat just anywhere. Do something spontaneous like driving to the beach. Having Dinner on the sand.

I took one of my dates down to Wilmington and we had a candle light dinner down on the river. That scored many points!!!

(click on the picture of olives to open the site...menus, etc, are listed)

Evoo, in Raleigh, is really good. Cozy, casual/upscale... It's near the intersection of Oberlin & Glenwood (from Glenwood, turn on Oberlin...it's about a block up on Fairview)
