Need third grade tutor!

Like many people my neice is having a hard time financially. She cannot afford a tutor for her third grade daughter. I know there must be agencies or volunteer teachers but I have had no luck in finding them. Can any of you offer any info. Please do not respond if you cannot offer useful info. My heart aches for this child when I see her struggle so. Pat

 

Maybe there are, but..there isn't a family member who can help the third grader? What subjects?

 

My church Fairview Baptist Church in Apex (off Ten-Ten road) offers free tutoring on Tuesday nights as a ministry. It is about a 20 minute drive from 40/42.

The couple that runs it are great and the wife is a teacher--it is staffed with trained vounteers

her own teacher, if asked, would probably be more than happy to help after school.

 

Most schools offer before or after school tutoring at no charge. As a general rule the only thing they need to do is ask the teacher or the front office.

I could prolly help. I took third grade a whole buncha times myself. They let me out when my lil knees wouldn't fit under the desk no more.
