I have a beautiful male 85 pound Golden Retreiver that we took into our home after he was abandoned in a friend's neighborhood in Fayetteville. After several months, however, our 8 year-old Cocker Spaniel refuses to share the home. We thought our cocker would grow to accept him, but has not. If anything, it has gotten worse. The retreiver, we named "Gambit", is young, approximately 2 yrs old, and is a gentle, loving, kid-friendly sweetheart. We have only seen aggression from him when forced to defend himself from attack from a 25 pound cocker with a Napoleon complex. We had him checked by our vet and received all shots when we adopted him, and will give these records to his new family. We want no money and will not ask for any, just a new home for this rambunctious, gentle giant.
