German grocer eyeing Clayton Lidl, a German grocer with 10,000 stores in 27 European countries, is making its first foray into the U.S. market. Is there a German Grocery Store in our area? How about a good German Restaurant? I haven't noticed either in the 3 years that I've been here. Aldi carries a few German items, but not a lot.
Pretty sure they mean based in Germany like Aldi & not one that carries German goods. They have the same store style as Aldi.
Glad to see something good. Wonder why where they said, and not the east part of Clayton to get folks from Flowers, or at 40/42.
Maybe they like the idea of competing with WallyWorld right across US 70. Will be interesting if it comes to past.
