The Johnston County Board of Education on Tuesday selected 100 acres of land in the Archer Lodge community for a new high school. It's not too far from Archer Lodge. I wonder if the students who attend Riverdell/Riverwood will go to that new high school? I know it's too soon to ask, but I'm curious what they'll name the school? Another "River" name? Not again pleaaassse!!!

I don't know what they'll name it but I bet my BIL will be happy! They are less that a mile from Corinth and their eldest (they have 4) was to attend SSS.

I love SSS - that's where I went, but it's SO far from where they live!

I think that I remember something about the name being some thing like NorthWest....Southeast (Whatever direction it is) Johnston! And YES....I do think that a large portion of the Riverwood/Corinth Holders kids will go there.....to ease overcrowding at Clayton High. Now we have to figure out what to do with the 700 over capacity West Johnston.

    Don't cha just love GROWTH!

I wonder how the 4 elementary schools (Polenta, CES, WV, McGees) are going to continue to feed 2 middle schools (CMS, MMS)....Cleveland 6th grade is already bursting at the seams!
