Anybody gonna play? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - http://www.nc-educationlottery.org/...-All-or-Nothing-draw-game-starts-in-September Every draw game player has been there: You get a ticket for an upcoming drawing, but don’t match any of the winning numbers – and don’t win a prize. With the All or Nothing game, that’s about to change. There are two ways to win the $250,000 top prize: Match all the numbers drawn, or none of them. Either way wins! When All or Nothing starts on September 7, it will mark the first new draw game in North Carolina since Mega Millions came here in January 2010. Because Mega Millions is so similar to Powerball, many players knew how to play the game right away. All or Nothing is totally different. A panel displays the numbers 1 to 24. You can let the computer Quick Pick, or choose 12 numbers yourself. Each play costs $2. Drawings will be held twice a day, at 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., to randomly select 12 numbers. There are 10 ways to win: • Match four or eight numbers for $2 (1 in 5.5 odds) • Match three or nine numbers for $10 (1 in 28 odds) • Match two or 10 numbers for $50 (1 in 310.5 odds) • Match one or 11 numbers for $500 (1 in 9,390 odds) • Match zero or 12 numbers for $250,000 (1 in 1.35 million odds) It will be easy to find out if you are a winner by checking your numbers or watching the results of a drawing on our website. All prizes must be claimed within 180 days. Like all of our drawings, those for All or Nothing will be held under the supervision of an auditor, according to specific security procedures. But – unlike our daily draw games and multistate games that use ball machines – All or Nothing drawings will be conducted using a random number generator. The results of a drawing are then displayed using a graphic animation. We are excited about this new way to play in North Carolina. Tickets will go on sale Sunday, Sept. 7 with the first drawing held at 12:30 p.m. that day. We are looking forward to meeting the first player in our state to win $250,000 – by matching All or Nothing.
so the only way to lose is to match 5, 6 or 7 numbers, otherwise you're gonna at least break even. With a RNG drawing it, if I chose 1-6 and 19-24, chances are I'd probably win at least $50.00 I think I'd try it for a couple draws, but not certain. Also, picking all even or all odd would get you a good chance of winning something. Interesting.
