Went in there today and fell in love! They have some beautiful stuff and their prices are great. It's one of the nicest, most organized thrift stores I've seen. I will be going back
I love thrift stores, espcially for books! You can get things there you can't find anywhere else. I haven't had a lot of luck with any local thrift stores, except for used clothes and CDs. Is this one a non-profit or a for-profit?
Where is it at in Peddler Village? I got a hard time finding places unless I'm standing right in front of them
Do they sort clothing by size or color? I don't shop at the Goodwill in Clayton any more. It takes forever to find things in the size needed since they sort by color.
It is in the old party supply store. It's the part that sticks out farther in the front, almost in the middle of the shopping center. I'm not sure how their clothes are arranged. I didn't look at them. I do believe they are open on Sunday.
ok, i'm new to the area, so I'm unfamiliar with where the Peddler's Village center is.....Is it next to the Waffle House where all the little shops are?
I went in there yesterday and it was very nice, well organized and reasonable prices! I spoke with the owner for a moment and she said that she has handpicked every item that is in her areas of the store. Against the far wall she has 5 smaller spaces that some other ladies stock with items. I'll definitely stop in there from time to time and see what she has. :hurray:
I know that they open at 10:00 because we got there a little early and had to wait. Not sure what time they close. I plan to go back this weekend and scout for more goodies.
I stopped in today and was pleasantly surprised as well. VERY organized & clean! I am excited to go back!
OMG, i went to that store today at lunch time for the first time - i am in love (don't tell my husband:lol they have the most unique things and great prices!!!
Hey Gomer, If you behave, we'll let you in. We're currently a disaster, in the beginning of a major reorganization, but we have had the Basic Needs thrift shop non-profit at Peddler's Village since 2003. Sales help pay the rent so we can give clothing and food away to those sent by 320 churches, schools, and agencies. There are 100,000 books and movies in our Cleveland Library, which you may check out for free and BRING BACK like all public libraries. We have 25,000 items in the clearance section now, including books. We could use your help to move everything and neaten it again.
