Hi All - My husband and I have lived in the 40/42 area for close to 2 years now, but we know almost nobody in our neighborhood! We are looking for other couples in the area that like to hang out and have a few drinks once in a while. We live in the Pleasant Woods subdivision off Cornwalis. Hi, and welcome! Honestly, you should go to a 4042 get-together next time they have one (I have actually never been to one yet), or the coupon swap they do, or something like that to meet people. If you go to church, or if you have kids, get involved with the school, that's also a great way to meet people. I know it is hard in a neighborhood...just because you live near someone doesn't mean you have anything in common with them, and you don't really get to know them just by going out to your mailbox or working in your yard. :mrgreen:
