New windows needed

    Okay, need some recommendations here. We need to replace (URGHH) 2 sets of windows in the garage. The framing is rotting out and this will be beyond repair. Trust me on that one. Already had a few people come and look at it. So, definitely need new windows. They'll be 4 windows total. These are in the garage so nothing extravagant for sure. Trying to keep costs at bay as we'll be trying to sell the house soon. Anyone know of a place that does windows, other than Lowes, and is resonable? Please let me know when you get a chance. I great appreciate it. If I'm not mistaken, some aluminum companies also do windows as well. Don't know. I just don't want to get ripped off. I know it will be pricey, but I also know about how much it should cost. Same token, I just want it done correctly. Thanks.

    Try American Vinyl Siding and Windows, I believe they are out of Clayton. Roger Evans owns the company and is VERY reputable and cost efficient. At least make sure you get a quote from them!

    If you don't mind, once you have the work completed, please update us on who you went with and how it worked out? We need to replace 2 windows in the house, and have not had it done yet because I have not been happy with the 2 places I have had come out to the house.

    do you want vinyl or wood? asking cause we're getting ready to replace all our windows with vinyl ones - maybe some of our old ones would fit your garage?

    We're getting all of ours replaced in a few weeks. I got so tired of talking to folks to get quotes :banghead:......and they're all basically the same window - so why such a variety in cost? We ended up going with ClearChoice http://www.clearchoice-usa.com/thetriad/

    They've did my current home,repaired my parents home, and an old rental my parents had.
