When we were at Christmas at Cleveland last night, a man walked up to us asking for 2 of my kids' names, and my husbands' and my names. Apparently, my kids are going to be in the News & Review. After he walked away, I asked my hubby if he was legit (I'm leery of giving out my kids information, but hubby had already started) I've never heard of the News & Review, and when I googled it this morning, it appears it's from the Benson/Four Oaks area. Does anyone get this paper, or know where I can get it? I am NEVER in Benson or Four Oaks, or anywhere near there. But if my kids are in the paper, I'd love to get a copy. I can't find a website online for the paper, or any real information, except an address. I live near 50/42, so if anyone can tell me who carries the paper around, I'd love to know! Also, how much is it, or is it something that just gets delivered free to their local residents? Thanks!
I have them on my e-mail list for church publicity, and I try to pick up a copy when I think of it. They have it at the Food Lion on 210.
No, its not a daily paper. Its weekly. I'm in Four Oaks and can pick up one for you if you would like. It will probably be in next week's issue.
OK, great! I'll probably swing by there next week sometime (mid-week, I'm assuming?) and see if they're in yet. It seems around here most weekly papers like that are issued on Wednesdays?
Actually, the News & Review out of Benson and Four Oaks has always covered the McGee's Xrds and Cleveland area events much better than the Herald ever did. I do pick it up occassionally at the Food Lion on 210 when there's been events happening in the McGee's or Cleveland areas.
For those of you who say you pick up this paper, has it come out this week, and if so, did you notice the Christmas in Cleveland article in it? I was just wondering before I run all the way to McGees if it's been printed yet?

No, Sheri you were right! I stopped there after dropping off the kids. They were right in the door when I walked in, I picked up 3 at 50 cents/each. First I checked to be sure my kids were in there, and my 5 yo is on the inside page with the photos from Xmas in Cleveland! A good photo too, I might add! :mrgreen: And perfect timing since I'm going to NY in a couple weeks to see family, so I can give mom and Gram each a copy, they'll love it! I would have bought more, but I don't carry cash with me, so $1.50 is all I could scrounge out of my car!
