Looking for a local (or semi-local) place that would sell a VERY NICE wine basket. You know, something with wine, cheese, crackers, sweets, things like that? Yes, I know I can make one, and might end up doing that. Just looking for ideas. I can't think of anyplace that would do it...brain's not working right today!

there use to be a place on Main St. in Clayton. I know they closed the store but not sure if she still does this out of her home. Maybe someone can remember the name for ya!

Does anyone know if World Market or Total Wine (?) does them? Or even BJ's?

There's a place in the strip across from the Clubhouse. I'm not sure if they have wine.

Harry and David does them too. Is there still one at the pottery mall?

Wow, you guys have me all confused! Dont' know where any of these places are (don't get out of Garner much!) but can certainly Google (right Kellbell?) Would like someplace easy to get to like a mall, or similar. And would rather not order online, would like to see in person.

see, that's where we differ....I do all my stuff online....it's just easier. I can tell you this, the stuff at both places I suggested is EXACTLY how it looks online. They go above and beyond. you can call and be online with them at the same time, and they will switch stuff out, add to, etc. all from the comforts of home.

The reason I want to see it is it's for hubby's customer and he's very particular about everything, so will want to see it up close and personal. Otherwise I don't mind ordering online.

I second a southern season or Harry & Davids at the outlets. Harry & Davids are well know for their HIGH quality product! You are so thoughtful :)

I have ordered several times online from Southern Season and been extremely pleased. I have also purchased gift towers and baskets from Harry & David at the outlets in Smithfield and also been really happy. Their pears are wonderful! You can't go wrong with either place.

:iagree: Both are great! I have sent many things sight-unseen directly from Southern Season to the recipient. Always good results!! If you go to their website and sign up for email updates, you will get lots of good incentives as well!

So this Harry & David's place is in the outlets in Smithfield? And they carry them all year, not just at Xmas? (that's what Total Wine told me yesterday they do) Can I just walk in and buy one premade if needed? Thanks for your help everyone!
