I have gotten 2 DS lites for the kiddies, I mean 'Santa' has, and my question is this, I know that they can play one game together as two players, but do they both have to have the game in the DS Lite? or can they play together off one game in either of the DS Lites? For example, Mario Kart is one of their favorites, do I need to get 2 Mario Kart games for them to be able to play it together or can they play together off one game? Thanks Gaming Guru's.
Don't know about the DSs, but with the old Gameboys you used a cable to link the two systems together and played with one game. I would imagine it would be the same way with the newer systems.
Kell, not sure about the Lites, but our kiddo has a DS and it's got a wireless card in there where he can go online and see if there are other kids to play with. I'd just check your instructions...................I am just not sure about the Lite version.
I'm not sure either.... I would suggest going to yahoo.com and clicking on "ask". Its a forum where you can pretty much post any question and get answers for it. I do however, want to suggest that you get some sort of protective cover for it. My daughter had a DS and after being dropped twice, several pieces broke off. Its definately worth paying a bit extra to have it protected!
Thanks for the information on the protecting the DS lite....I am going to research the other 'game sharing' per your suggestion too. THANKS!
Most of the games require you to have two games. Some of them allow you to play the mini games with only one, but you need two to play the whole thing. BUT.... The New Super Mario bro's lets you play the whole multi player with only one person having the game. I say buy one of everything and experiment?? (disclaimer, this was dictated by 11 year old son!)
OH THANKS! Those 11 year olds know more about this stuff than I do....and this is for 2 eleven year olds....thank you so much! Tell the smart 11 year old thanks too. Merry Christmas!
No prob, glad we can help. He is indeed a gaming expert! Now if I can get him to be a homework expert I will be happy. Hee hee. I hope your two are thrilled!!!
