Anyone have any advice on this? Bought a used car, the guy who sold it to us signed the title without it being notorized first. We have not been able to get into contact with him and we really need to drive this car tomorrow (although now it does not look like its going to happen). Has this happened to anyone before? I'm sure he will contact us, but just in case he doesnt get our message, any idea?
Notary I am a Notary and all parties have to be in front of the notary for the title to be any good. The notary has to make sure the man is whom he said he is and that all parties sign the title. Or there is a form that you can get if you know someone that knows the previous owner and say yes that is His Her signature. Hope this helps.
