Now instead of having a couple of decent looking women chasing him down it's gonna be good ol' girls that dip Skoal and who are missing a few teeth.

I'm sorry I don't watch the "Bud and the Beautiful" or "All My Childress". I thought Budweiser was staying with Dale Jr. So...who's Dale Jr.'s sponsor for next year.

Mt. Dew and Adidas are supposed to be his primary sponsers.

It will be announced today on the Speed Channel , I think at 1 am. Everything says it will be Mt Dew / National Guard / Pepsi Energy Drink and #88.

The car looks so much like the #8, so it is not much of a shock..I think Jr. in the MT DEW car will be hard to adjust to.

Probably so. However, as popular as Dale Jr. is and the amount of memorabilia that exists, his stuff winds up in the hands of kids. I understand that sponsors, like everyone else, seeks out the popular teams and drivers to promote their products, but I'd much rather have Dale Jr. driving a Mountain Dew car than a Budweiser car, simply because lots of kids like race cars and they don't really need the influences that promote drinking beer as acceptable at too young an age.

Let me point out quickly that I don't have any faults with adults drinking beer or other alcohol in moderation, although I myself do not. Yet, to me its hardly any different than removing cigarette sponsorship. Children will most certainly be involved in NASCAR as spectators and consumers of toys and other products. I can draw no distinction from the promotion of premature smoking and underage drinking. They both should be reserved for adulthood and not promoted to youth until they are old enough to choose their lifestyle habits.
