http://www.wral.com/news/news_briefs/story/7495226/ This never made any sense to me. We are cutting teachers but we are building more schools and have ALOT more kids coming to the area... I know I am kind of :beathorse:. But it still never ceases to amaze me....
I guess this means larger class sizes and the likelihood that school districts will start trimming in areas like PE, art, and extracurricular activities. I saw the mentioning of reductions in athletics. I'll bet lunches will be effected, as well with increases and foods that are cheaper in volume and demand less lunchroom staff.
