    No, but the headline now says:
    Person killed in wreck on N.C. Highway 42


    Your comment hoping they are all OK was presumably made before the headline indicated somebody was killed.

    Our little corner of the world sure is suffering these days.

    I'm not sure why WRAL is showing a map of a location that is a mile away.

    Motorcycle, van and cement truck? I am afraif the biker lost this one. My thoughts and prayers are with the deceased's family.
    Too many fatality accidents in our area.

    Not us and I've checked in with my peeps. They are home.

    That's VERY sad.
    I feel horible for the family.

    we came up on it last night when we went out to dinner....I knew it couldn't be good. So sad. :cry:

    James Junior Evans, 39, died in the crash, according to authorities. He was driving the motorcycle.
    How sad.

    I do not know who he is but his name sounds familiar. I ride throught there on occasion and I get a little nervous going through that intersection.

    Be careful out there.

    I hope there will be left turn arrows soon although it sounds as though it would not have mattered in this case. 42 and Rock Service cross at a weird angle and that combined with the hill and the sun can make for sticky situations.

    I came through there the day before, on Monday, and there was an accident at that very intersection. It didn't look too bad, but still that's two in two days.

    According to my wife he was one of the survivors in the Slim Jim Factory explosion.

    Wow...now that is creepy! Sort of like the movie Final Destination.
