Saw DOT putting up road closed signs on Old Drug Store Rd. Really surprised if they are replacing the "non-bridge" that is a drain pipe, so anyone know what else they are doing?
The fire department was blocking traffic last night, so whatever it is wasn't planned. It's right in front of Adam's Point.
And now it's open again. The road is broken up across from the new subdivision, and next to a gas line indicator, so I'm guessing someone probably hit a gas line.
Eh they had detour signs up bolted in. Thats normally not done for a gas line (I do FD work with stuff like that on occasion). That said, digging up the road for a re-lay of a major gas line is something that would possibly close a road for a few days and need detour signs.
