KDC, I am one of those bleeding hearts. And, it appears to me that the facts as reported are indisputable. The guy had his chance. And, as liberal as I am, the treatment he was offered apparently didn't work. At some point, this guy has to "man up', accept his responsibility for his character faults, and pay his dues. Certainly, the rights of the victim count. As do my rights to not be confronted with such abhorrent behavior. Bang! He'll never molest anyone again.
You are absolutely right. One example means that all sex offenders will offend again. And if you get caught speeding, we will take away your license. After all, if you speed once you will speed again.
