One Death in Johnston County Mobile Home Fire

    Raleigh, N.C. — At least one person was killed early Thursday in a pair of house fires in Johnston and Chatham counties, authorities said.
    Fire gutted a mobile home at 830 Woodall Dairy Road near Benson at about 6 a.m., and authorities said one person was found dead inside. The identity of the victim hasn't been released, and investigators haven't determined the cause of the fire.

    I heard a ton of sirens this morning about 9:00, couldn't tell what way they were going down 50, wonder if this is what it was for?

    I still can't believe he's gone.

    I knew the guy. He was a great fella. Funny as hell!

    I'd bet the farm he fell asleep with a cig in his hand.

    So Sorry to hear of this fire and all others due to cold weather and improper heating, smoking, etc.... It is so sad to have to have a house fire but even worse if there is loss of life involved. We will pray for this family @ church tonight.
