Raleigh, N.C. — At least one person was killed early Thursday in a pair of house fires in Johnston and Chatham counties, authorities said. Fire gutted a mobile home at 830 Woodall Dairy Road near Benson at about 6 a.m., and authorities said one person was found dead inside. The identity of the victim hasn't been released, and investigators haven't determined the cause of the fire.
I heard a ton of sirens this morning about 9:00, couldn't tell what way they were going down 50, wonder if this is what it was for?
I still can't believe he's gone. I knew the guy. He was a great fella. Funny as hell! I'd bet the farm he fell asleep with a cig in his hand.:cry::cry::cry:
So Sorry to hear of this fire and all others due to cold weather and improper heating, smoking, etc.... It is so sad to have to have a house fire but even worse if there is loss of life involved. We will pray for this family @ church tonight.
