Saw Ooma VOIP at Costco and Bestbuy.com. Does anyone have this or know anything about it? I think it's similar to Vonage. I appreciate anyone's input regarding Ooma or Vonage or any similar service. We have TWC Roadrunner for our ISP. I know a lot of people have ditched their landlines and only have their cell, but was interested in other options. Thanks for your replies!

I have had OOMA for just over a year now. LOVE IT!!! I negotiated an upgrade to the Premier Service, which allows you to create blacklists and block callers. That feature alone is worth a lot to me.

Thanks for your info! It sounds like a good deal. I have a base phone and two cordless handsets. Can you use them or did you have to purchase special phones? I really am not familiar with VOIP and am not sure how this works. Again, thanks for your help! Sheila

I simply connect the base phone of our cordless system to the OOMA hub and then scatter the other 3 handsets around the house.

I really appreciate the info. We're seriously considering this option. DH has some questions for TWC Roadrunner, but other than that, I think we're going to go with Ooma.
