open house We had a great time. Everybody was so friendly. The band was two girls and was really good. The weather cooperated and it turned out to be really nice day.
Did any of the Anti-Gas people come out and speak to Ernie or anyone? I have a reason for asking this.

There were NO protestors!!! YEAH! We had the Johnston County Sherrifs Dept just in case though. It was peaceful and lots of fun!!!
I cannot be controlled what may happen around Miniskirts. No, the reason I ask, is if they came out for the sake of the animals and asked real questions and presented their arguments like adults, someone may actually listen to them. Otherwise, they just want to get on here and act like children. It is apparent they don't give a crap about the shelter, they just want to play on the internet.

BTW I saw something this weekend that could not be called anything other than a very wide belt :shock: (my ribs are still sore from the elbow I got too :wink: ) I am sooo glad I did not have a daughter too ... some poor hormone filled boy would have been shot and I'd be asking for jury nullification .. :wink:
Yes, we were there. We distributed information to people about the gas chamber, quietly of course. Can't beleive you missed us, but you don't know who we are, do you? That's funny.
I wasn't there, and if I was I wouldn't have farted in your general direction. But several people have said that nobody from the Anti-Gas lobby was there. I guess you only handed stuff out in double secret. You go secret agent man.
Because we know you are the pro-gas prezident :wink: We were there and we saw the SNAKES! Are they still feeding puppies and kittens to them? What was the purpose of having boa constrictors at this celebration?
I was there, and also saw the snakes. I hope they accomplished the goal of trying to let folks know that there have been many different types of animals surrendered to the shelter, snakes, bunnies, ferretts, birds, igunanas.... Lord knows I think I've seen just about everything come through those doors.
if anyone wants a pet snake they are all over my yard....oh yeah and someone dropped off some puppies at the bottom of our path on our property....I am going to look for them today I was sick last night and didnt get down there....thank you LORD...I wanted a new puppy, a bad way for someone to do this, but Ill take care of them
You have snakes in your yard? Ugh... I DO NOT like snakes. As long as they stay away from me, I'm fine, but I don't know that I could handle them hanging out in my yard....
I live on a HUGE pond, that wraps around, I have never seen the end of it...and there are snakes all over the place...I am scared...of them, last weeK i walked out on my deck and there was a big turtle at my step...I took pics.
