    Hey guys...

This weekend is the Ovarian Cancer Awareness walk in Raleigh. This will be my second year walking for Marian's Marchers.

Marian is FrugalMomOf2's mother. She's suffering with this terrible disease, and we're walking to help raise money for research so that hopefully one day, there'll be a cure.

Many of you have met FrugalMomOf2 personally, many haven't. Let me just tell you that she's always the first person to volunteer to help anyone. She has a saints heart. At Christmas, she's always among the first in line to help out with the Christmas Angels outreach that we do as a board.

If you're so inclined to help support ovarian cancer research, we'd like to invite you to make a donation in Marian's name.

The website is www.ovarianawareness.org, and the name of our team is Marian's Marchers. You're also welcome to come walk with us! It's a 2 mile walk, they'll give you a free shirt and feed you lunch! If you can't walk and would still like to donate, you can sponsor a walker.

Please feel free to PM me with any questions.

Unless the world falls apart.............I'll be seeing you there.

Folks, this is a great cause and I know both Frugal and her mother. You can't ask for better people. :grouphug:

Today is the 10th anniversary of my mother-in-law's death from cancer. Frugal, I'm sorry to hear about your mother. Cancer stinks!

I'd do the walk but I already have prior commitments.

Thank you to all that made a donation in Marian's name.

The walk was a great success! We were the last team to cross, but Marian walked the entire two miles! I was so proud! Even the organizers had tears in their eyes when she crossed the finish line!

Ovarian cancer is a silent killer ladies. Make sure you're getting your yearly exams. No one is immune.
