I am looking for information on a vacation spot oversees for next summer. We will be traveling with 2 sets of grandparents (pretty active) and 2 families with children - ages 10, 8, 3, and 2. Based on your question I thought you were looking for a supervisor. You did not provide enough information as to what your interests are. When we travel we look for two things: 1) language spoken, and 2) history. Great Britain the last couple of times.
All of the travelers speak English almost entirely. Mainly we are getting together for a vacation with one family who is living in Central Asia and we will not see them for the next year. Would prefer a location that we could get around easily speaking English. We would like to do some sightseeing and touristy stuff but also would be grateful for a place that we could just be together and catch up.
Ireland is wonderful. Been all over Europe(used to live in Germany) and what you'll find is if you stay in the main cities, they will pretty much all speak english. Now, most of the Eastern European countries will not. I'd first narrow down about what area you'd want to go to & what exactly you'd like to do. You know, beach or hiking or whatever..
