On my way to work this morning, I was at a stoplight and took my coat off while waiting. I twisted my back a wrong way I suppose and now it feels like I can hardly move. When i am sitting it is ok, but God help me if I get up to go do something. And I got to go up and down stairs quite a bit. I have borrowed a small pillow one of the girls here had when she was pregnant and I have taken some Excedrin. I wish I had one of those wrap around heat thingys.....anyone know if there is any kind of movement I can do that may help put it back in place or stop the pain??? Thanks in advance!
For when you get home... a cheaper and easier heat wrap is to take a large tube sock (adult male) or a pillow case and put rice in it. Then tie the end up really good. Put the sock in the microwave for a couple of minutes. Then place the sock on your back where it hurts. If it's at the waist the big sock works well for wrapping while you are sitting up. We used a little sock on our baby for gas/colic pains and also used the sock for back pain, labor pain, monthly cramps...use it over and over again. A lot cheaper than the wraps they sell at the store.
Just don't get it wet. If you get it wet and then put it in the M-wave, you'll end up with a "pilaf pack". :-D
