Pavarotti gone

The world has lost a beautiful voice:-( Between him and Beverly Sills, we have lost two beautiful inspiring voices in such a short time.

I so agree Kaci. I was online last night when the news of his passing hit the web. I ended up listening to You Tube videos of Nessun Dorma, Ave Maria and others into the wee hours of the morning. Here is a link to an amazing version of Nessun Dorma from Puccini's opera Turandot.

Pancreatic cancer seems to leave very little room for hope. His passing is untimely and unfortunate.

 

Truly a great talent who will be missed.

 

I saw him with the show "The Four Tenors" in NY City. Man I admit I am a rocker but there was something absolutely mesmerizing about his voice.
