Who in their right mind decided the weekend (including Friday) would be a grand time to pave on 42 between Cornwallis and 40? It used to be so quiet and peaceful around here. So much for living in the "country"
whats wrong with midnight???? i sat through two green light cycles because the people had no idea how to direct traffic....
What a CLUSTER ****! Who at NCDOT thought that paving 42 during the day ... any day would be a good idea? The traffic signals are a joke on 42 from 50 to 70 bypass. A 13 year old going thru puberty could time them better than the ASSHATS from NCDOT have done. First light turns green... then the next light turns RED... Grid lock in it's purest form. It's obvious no one from NCDOT lives off exit 312....
Never a good time to do this sort of thing, but I have to say I am impressed at how much they have done so quickly.
