Honeycutt, Holmes Appointed to Posts SMITHFIELD-- The Johnston County Board of Education has approved Dr. Anthony Parker's recommendation to appoint Brookie Honeycutt, currently serving as principal of West Smithfield Elementary School, as principal of Cleveland Elementary School. She will succeed Mary Nell Ferguson, who is retiring. The Board also approved the appointment of Todd Holmes, currently an assistant principal at River Dell Elementary School, to replace Mrs. Honeycutt as principal of West Smithfield Elementary School.
