Hi all: I'm sure this has already been discussed, but I can't find a thread for it (I can never get the thread search to work on here). Anyway, last week I got a flier in the mail stating that a new Pharmacy was coming to Lowes foods at 42/50 (it didn't give a name). The flier asked me to give my opinion by logging onto a website and answering questions. I went to the website and looked over the questions (standard stuff) but I'm wondering if one really is coming or they were just trying to gage if a pharmacy is needed in this area (which it is). Have you been to the CVS lately at 42 and 50? I can barely find a parking spot sometimes and the pharmacy is always slammed. I can't wait for them to start building the new Walgreens but it would be even more convenient if a pharmacy really was coming to the Lowes shopping center. I know Medicap pharmacy is around the corner, but after 2 bad experiences with them, I won't be shopping there anymore.
PB, sorry you had bad experiences with them. I've always gotten the best of service from Lance and staff. From years of experience as a pharmaceutical salesman, I choose to support my local businessman, and a pharmacy that's never too busy to counsel me on the prescriptions I get. Try that at the CVS when they are slammed. They only want your money, and your exit. H6
I live right up the road from the Lowes and I haven't heard anything. Curious who got the fliers? I haven't noticed any signs up in the empty windows stating someone new is coming, but sometimes people are slow with things like that. I've been to the middle creek commons website and they don't have anything new on there either. A pharmacy would be nice, with 3 kids we're always picking up something! And I can't wait for them to start working on the wachovia. that's my bank so will be going there a lot as well!
