    Hi:

We're starting a business out of our home and we're going to need a good phone system. Does anyone recommend one? We need 2 phones with the ability to add more later. The phone needs to have vm, hold music, etc. If you have a small business, what phone system do you use and how much did it cost? What carrier do you use? I'm looking at a voip system, but not sure about it.

    Tx!

We got rid of landline entirely. Embark wanted as much for two months for a fax line as what it costs to get a toll free fax line with online retrieval anywhere for a year.
    Check your options..

A true phone system can be expensive for a start-up business, however Nortel is one of the better known systems. I'd just stick with perhaps two or three-line wireless landline phones connected by intercom that you can buy from like Best Buy, OfficeMax or even Walmart.
