Looking for someone who can do big color rendering type maps of subdivisions that you might see in a model home or mounted on a pole at the entrance of a subdivision. I can do it but i do it so infrequently that it takes me three times longer than someone who knows what they are doing with Photoshop would. I would give them a base map to go on and they would "color" it, for lack of a better term. Anyone know anyone? PS Yes i know i spelled Illustrator wrong in the title.
do you have access to ArcGIS if so you might could do one rather quickly just using a fill on your polygons.
I dont but its more than polygon filling. I need to show the trees, water, creek, houses, pavement and so on and that needs to be "artisticed", so to speak.
yeah, but they should have there own attributes and symbology. hmmm not sure of anyone local to you that could do it. sorry!
if you are willing to pay someone, then you might want to check with Dalton or Southwind.. they may have someone there that can do one for ya.. btw you still there, I figured most had been let go.
grin..Dalton doesnt have anyone and i think Southwinds is pretty much bare bones. This is definitely a paying gig.
The final drawing will end up on a 24"x36" piece of foam board mounted on a wall, but the drawing itself will be about 75 lots big. Someone good could do it in 8-10 hours i would think easily.
Ok I got a name but no contact information, just a few questions. Do you care if its done with Arc because this is what she uses. A guy I work with is trying to get her number or at least her email for me. Also are you plotting or is this going to Triangle. What format will they need this in to be able to plot?
Actually dont care how its done as long as it looks like what we have done previously. Need it in PDF or JPG and ill be taking it to Sir Speedy on Hillsborough St, which will probably sub it out to Triangle.
If you would send me an email address for you so i can send you a jpg of what i am looking for and you can send that on down the line and so on.
you know what I have one more for ya, try GeoData in Zebulon. Shawn Bradshaw he use to be really good at this and they could probably get this done for you quickly.. 269-5744
