Does anyone know where you can take just Pilates/Yoga classes near 4042 without having to join a gym? I had heard that someone taught classes over in the strip mall behind the CookOut, has anyone taken them there?

I think All About Ballroom had some. You may want to check there...771-0108

The lady that teaches in the All About Ballroom studio has a website:

    www.yogaisgood.com

She is starting a new yoga class in September after the kids go back to school. The schedule is posted on the website along with this info:

5-WEEK PACKAGE FOR BEGINNERS/NEWCOMERS STARTS IN SEPTEMBER
Classes are ongoing and you can start at any time. But if you want to start yoga classes after summer vacation, this 5-week special begins the week of September 14 - 20.
    $60.00 - 5 weeks.

**IF ANYONE HAS TAKEN THESE CLASSES, PLEASE GIVE SOME FEEDBACK**

I will post back if I hear anything else about Pilates.

The only thing I dislike, is if I am not mistaken you can join a local gym that offers yoga/pilates classes for less than that per month and have access to other perks. JMHO.
But please report back on your experience, I am not ruling it out completely.

Garner Parks and Recreation offers some yoga, tai chi and pilates classes. They hold them at the Garner Senior Center (which opens to adults 18 and older for some programs after 5pm). Their number is 779-0122 if you want to find out more.

Checked out the website, and it looks interesting. Anyone else thinking of signing up? It starts in September, and it's pretty reasonable for a 5 week course.
