anyone ever been to Pilot Mountain to the cabins they have there? Someone told me about it and was thinking about giving the kids a few nights there as a wedding gift in Oct. Any opinions would be appreciated:allears:
The only option I see is for you to give me a few nights and I'll be happy to return and issue a full report.
I've not been to the cabins (we camp) but the trails are awesome for hiking! (Like honeymooners would be hiking!~)
Are you talking about the place where the cabins are converted tobacco barns? If you are its a great place for a get away weekend.
that's it, old tobacco barns turned into private cabins - had someone suggest it to us for them and looking for personal experiences if anyone has stayed there.
My wife and I stayed there a couple of years ago. Enjoyed it very much. Cabins are nice with extra A/C upstairs where you sleep since this time of year it can be hot. Easy access to Pilot Mountian. They have a nice pool. A great home cooked breakfast was included !!
