Some of my family members are going to throw a really good friend a wedding shower in the next few weeks. We thought about renting a conference room at a hotel? Has anyone had any experience in this. We are looking in the Smithfield area, preferably close to outlets. If anyone could give some feedback on price and the overall experience, it would be great. Thanks so much!! April
See if there are any B&Bs in the Smithfield area. I know there's one in Clayton, the Morning Glory Inn. We used it for our rehearsal lunch, and it was quite nice. Many of them will let you rent a room/provide a cake/refreshments for gatherings like that.
