Does anyone know someone that has empty plastic drums (55 gallon) that I could use for storing rainwater? (Plastic drum) rain catchers cost over 150 bucks online and I figure empty plastic drum + hole in top = cheaper alternative.

    Oh ...storing rainwater.

I thought you were going to bang on them and do a rain dance.

    Plastic Drums

I heard on triangletrader.com at 5:15 yesterday that a man has plastic drums with lids for sale and they are only $10.00. He says they are perfect for catching rain water.........
